TOUR SUMMARY
"Liberty, Equality, Fraternity" was one of the rallying cries during the French Revolution and it remains France’s national motto. Join this tour to learn about what this meant to people in the Parisian LGBTQIA+ community throughout the centuries.

Passing former literary salons, libraries, and cafés, you will learn the stories of writers, artists and activists who lived non-conformist lives in Paris: Natalie Clifford Barney, Sylvia Beach, Oscar Wilde, Josephine Baker, Monique Wittig. We will not forget to tell you the stories of our queer kings and queens, before ending the tour in the Marais, the community's most important current area.
